Proverbs and Grammatical work

This book of proverbs was copied by Erpenius after becoming the Chair of Arabic Studies in Leiden. With proverbs from Southern Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, and other North African regions, these pages include a common saying about knocking a thousand a times on a door and hearing no response.
