What is a SNICKET exhibition?

Snicket

From the smallest community run museum to the largest international art galleries, all use exhibitions to engage audiences. Exhibitions enable institutions to tell new stories, provide a tangible output for research and engage distinct audiences.

Today, the exhibition is no longer confined to a building. Travelling across borders it reaches audiences who may never cross institutional thresholds, with the potential to reaches global communities of shared interests who may never travel. It continues beyond its closing date.

This exhibition explores SNICKET the evolution of exhibition-making and demonstrates how the digital space is not a replacement for the gallery, but another chapter. If you’d like to know more, read on and take the quiz.

Story telling magic

Each SNICKET exhibition you create is separated into stories, and each story into objects. SNICKET doesn’t replicate the gallery. It enables museums and galleries to tell stories in the way they now how, for an audience whose storytelling might normally come from social media or e-commerce.
